It’s a project by Pascual Architecte who designed it with large glass doors that open up the living spaces to the garden and also with a large circular skylight carved out into the terrace roof. The skylight is an unexpected and unusual detail. It opens the outdoor spaces to views of the sky and it also brings more light into the kitchen, which is welcomed especially in winter. What’s especially beautiful about this house is the dialogue between the concrete and the wood, two materials that complement each other in a really great way.

It’s also a great way to organize your pots and pans while still being able to find them in a jiff. Create a sort of valence by using your pots as the window dressing. Between the light and the texture, this is another functional and stylish way to organize the pots and get them out of the cabinets.

While the traditional ones might cut down on cost, the ones that seem to be the most popular are the minimalist-styled sliding doors that are clad in glass.
